Guide
📖Rajasthan is a year-round destination, but the experience changes completely with the season. Here is a simple month-by-month guide to help you choose.
October – November
Ideal. Post-monsoon greenery, cool days and the grand Pushkar Camel Fair. Peak season begins.
December – January
Coolest months — sunny days, chilly nights and clear light. Perfect for forts and the desert (pack warm layers).
February – March
The sweet spot — warm, comfortable weather with the Jaisalmer Desert Festival, Holi and Gangaur.
April – June
Very hot (40°C+). Not ideal for sightseeing, but hotels are cheapest and Mount Abu stays cool.
July – September
Monsoon. The land turns green and Teej fills the cities — fewer tourists and lower prices.
🏨 Book at the right time
Hotel prices swing hugely by season — book heritage havelis and desert camps early for the cool months, or grab summer bargains.
